Bushkill Riding Stables
Allow approximately 14–16 minutes by car from our homes. Trade the car for a saddle and explore the woods on a guided horseback ride. A memorable way to spend part of your mountain escape. Contact the stables before you go to confirm availability and rider requirements. Closed-toe shoes are a good starting point.
Pocono TreeVentures
Allow approximately 15–17 minutes by car from our homes. Take your adventure into the treetops with an aerial ropes course. A change of perspective for the adventurous members of your group. Confirm operating dates, reservations, and age or height requirements directly with the operator.
Pocono Zip Racer
Just a 5 minute drive from the house. Experience the thrill of Pocono Zip Racer's 1,000-foot dual racing zip lines situated in the scenic Pocono Mountains of Bushkill as you soar through the air at speeds exceeding 35 miles per hour, without requiring any special skills. This exhilarating adventure is enjoyable and exciting, and the zip lines are accessible throughout the year, subject to weather conditions.
Bushkill Falls
Allow approximately 21–23 minutes by car from our homes. Wooden bridges, woodland trails, and the sound of falling water. Make a little room in your getaway for one of the Poconos’ most memorable walks. Wear shoes with good grip and choose a trail that suits your group. Check seasonal opening dates before heading out.
Pocono Hills Golf Course
Just a 5 minute drive from our property. Pocono Hills Golf Course's Par 71, 18-hole resort course features sprawling fairways that entice golfers of all levels. The course offers a golf shop, practice hole, and convenient tee times. Additionally, players of all skill levels can be accommodated, with dedicated ladies', men's, and championship tees available. White Lightning Snowtubing
Just a 4 minute drive away. Indulge in the exhilarating experience of snow tubing in the Pocono Mountains at White Lightning Snow Tubing. No need to worry about the weather, as White Lightning produces its own snow to ensure that tubing is available from late December through March, weather permitting. Participants must be at least four years of age to enjoy the ride down the snow-covered slopes. Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, White Lightning Snow Tubing offers a thrilling adventure for families, groups, and individuals seeking an unforgettable winter experience.
Blue Lightning Tubing
Just a 4 minute drive away. Blue Lightning all-season tubing provides the opportunity to experience the thrill of snow tubing throughout the year. As the only all-season tubing facility in the Pocono Mountains, it features a Magic Carpet lift and two 400-foot tubing lanes. To begin tubing, simply ride to the top on the lift and sit on the tube to glide down the specially designed runs that do not require snow or water. Group rates are available for 12 or more participants, and single tubes are provided to all riders. Please note that all participants must be at least four years old and 40" tall to ride.
Shawnee Mountain Ski Area
Allow approximately 23–25 minutes by car from our homes. Make a day of skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing, then come home for a soak in the hot tub. Shawnee is a nearby mountain option for your winter getaway. Reserve lessons and rentals ahead of a winter weekend, and check the snow report before leaving the house.

Just a 10 minute drive away. Destination Earth Paintball in East Stroudsburg is the ultimate destination for paintball enthusiasts. Camelback Mountain Ski Resort
Allow approximately 55–57 minutes by car from our homes. A mountain day with plenty of possibilities: winter skiing and tubing, or warm-weather adventures at the resort. Choose your season and make a day of it. Book the specific activity you want and follow its parking instructions. Different resort attractions have different entrances.

Allow approximately 27–29 minutes by car from our homes. A small animal attraction with plenty to catch a curious child’s eye. Reptiles, goats, and other animals make this an easy stop to fit into a family outing. Allow about an hour and check current opening information. Use only the venue’s approved feed for animal encounters.
Pocono Go-Karts and Play Park
Allow approximately 22–24 minutes by car from our homes. A little friendly competition belongs on vacation. Outdoor go-karts, kiddie karts, and miniature golf give your group a few ways to play together. Check seasonal hours and the requirements for each ride before setting off. Skylanes Bowling Center
Allow approximately 32–34 minutes by car from our homes. A friendly little competition makes a great rainy-day plan. Gather your group for a few frames in East Stroudsburg. Call ahead for lane availability, particularly on weekends or when leagues are playing.
